With the weather ramping up a notch, I give in quite quickly to requests for ice cream! Here are a few of my favourite pitstops in Palma...

RivaReno Heladeria

Located on the lovely Plaza de La Lotja/Lonja, I can never resist going in when passing by this store. Theres often a queue in the summer, but empty in the winter...though apparently ice cream is always made fresh on a daily basis no matter the day or weather! Theyve recieved loads of awards apparently, though I just like the variety of flavours! yummy :)

Cucrull Bike

Keep your eyes out for these guys at any events around the island. They're very passionate about ice cream and it is quite delicious. Plus the owners are super friendly so its hard to resist a look! They are available to hire for events too :)

Cream Crew

One of the few places to buy vegan ice cream, is of course here in Santa Catalina (trendy, healthy veggie/vegan centro!) Its a cute little place, with only a few flavours but really yummy and doesnt seem like you are missing dairy at all! "Organic, natural, plant based handmade ice cream!"

Tita Mai's

Again, another great non-dairy healthy ice cream option! If you are in the EL Terreno or Son Armadans area, hunt out this tiny little but grrreat eating spot. EVERYTHING is cooked fresh and from scratch, Mai the owner doesn't fry anything and shops twice a day for fresh, locally sourced ingredients. With a dairy intolernce herself, nothing contains the stuff- including her DELICIOUS ice creams. A small pot (big enough for two or saves for the freezer at home) is only €1.80 and worth every penny yum yum yum. Plus, its low sugar- the flavour comes from the natural ingredients, so I don't feel so guilty feeding it to my toddler!
