Not only is Olivar Market a great place for buying gorgeous produce- it is also a fantastic place to mooch about for a coffee- or better yet, head to the back of the fish market for some fabulous tapas. You'll find Bar del Peix, one of our faves- a bustling bar serving up freshly cooked seafood for a really reasonable price. The locals also love a few oysters with their afternoon cava- and for the price of a couple of euros it is certainly hard to say no! The few bars dotted around this end of the market are brimming with atmosphere and definitely well worth a visit if you're in town feeling peckish.
