So they made the move last year from central Palma to a much bigger space up past Plaza Espana, 5 mins along the tram to Soller tracks. So although slightly out of town now, this place has got a lot going for it and well worth a visit. The library is of course well stocked, and you can buy English kids books as well as Spanish ones, hurrah! But that's not all, there's a large play area, lovely sofas and comfy chairs for weary parents, free wifi and a help yourself coffee station for €1. I guess the greatest pull here, and what Baobab is known for, are there cool crafty workshops- someone is very good at plastacine murals here and you'll see lots of the previous artwork created on display! Check the website for upcoming events. A great pit stop on a rainy day, but do watch the hours- they do have a long siesta in the middle of the day (I keep forgetting and turn up when its closed, duh!)
